This training launch of the Ghauri Weapon System occurred
approximately six days after Pakistan's successful test flight of the Ababeel

revalidate various designs, technical parameters, and assess the performance of
different sub-systems within the weapon system.
According to the ISPR, "The missile system was aimed at
strengthening deterrence and enhancing strategic stability in the region
through the operationalization of Full Spectrum Deterrence in the overall
construct of Credible Minimum Deterrence."
