With business booming, Middle Eastern airlines seeking to fill multiple positions
With airline business returning to pre-pandemic level fast,
airlines in the Middle East are actively seeking to fill the vacant positions
in different fields.
Dubai-based Emirates plans to hold open days in multiple cities to
recruit cabin crew. It will hold open days in Antwerp, Sarajevo, Milan,
Barcelona, Ni
ce, Montpellier and Bodrum from December 23 to 29.
Other
cities where the recruitment drive will be held are Tirana, Vienna, Brussels,
Antwerp, Sofia, Zagreb, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Lille, Paris, Munich, Berlin,
Frankfurt, Hamburg, Rome, Oslo, Madrid, Santander, Jeddah, Riyadh, Toronto,
Calgary, Vancouver, Washington, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami and many other major
cities in January 2023.
Dubai’s
flagship carrier has so far listed more than 200 jobs in its careers section
for different positions including cabin crew, contact centre agent, data
analyst, flying instructor, airport service agent, technical manager, senior
sales executive, operations manager, administration assistant, commercial
account manager, aircraft technician, licensed aircraft engineer, software
engineer and many more. Most of these positions are vacant in Dubai but there
are also openings in India, the US, Turkey, the UK, Hungary, Hong Kong and
other destinations.
After
completing the assessment, online test at the venue and final interview, the
successful candidates should provide latest digital CV in English, valid ID or
passport copy, copies of educational certificates to complete the application
process.
The candidates should
be:
- Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)
- At least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high
- Able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements
- Holding at least 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience
- Having a minimum of high school (Grade 12) education
- Clear from visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform
