The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) will set up a
task force to assist and facilitate the passengers at major airports of the
country.
According to a PCAA
spokesperson, the guidance and assistance will be particularly beneficial to
passengers whose flights are delayed or cancelled due to bad weather.
Some parts of the country are facing foggy conditions,
resulting in cancellations, rerouting or delaying of flights.
The task force will be headed by the respective airport
manager.
The task force will help resolve the passenger issues
through the concerned airlines, Airports Security Force (ASF) and the Federal
Investigation Agency.
They will also be in contact with traffic police to manage
situations in car parking and lane two.
The task force will also ensure updating the latest
information regarding the flights on the Flight Information Display System.
