PAF Academy Risalpur holds graduation ceremony for multiple courses

113 aviation cadets graduate at PAF Academy Risalpur  

A graduation ceremony for multiple courses was held at PAF Academy Asghar Khan, Risalpur, marking the successful completion of training for cadets from the 152nd GD(P), 98th Engineering, 109th Air Defence (Alpha & Bravo), 28th Admin & Special Duties (Alpha & Bravo), 11th Logistics (Alpha), and 135th Combat Support Courses.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf attended the event as the chief guest. He was received upon arrival by Air Vice Marshal Shahryar Khan, Air Officer Commanding PAF Academy Asghar Khan. Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, was also present on the occasion.

Addressing the graduating cadets, Admiral Naveed Ashraf congratulated them on completing their demanding training and praised the academy for producing officers known for discipline, professionalism, and strong character. He expressed confidence that the new officers would carry forward the Pakistan Air Force’s tradition of excellence and uphold its vision of being “Second to None.”

He also highlighted the Pakistan Air Force’s performance during Marka-e-Haq May 2025, attributing its success to effective leadership, modernization, and the integration of advanced technologies under the leadership of the Air Chief. He emphasized the growing importance of multi-domain operations, including cyber, space, and electronic warfare, and encouraged cadets to remain prepared for emerging challenges.

The naval chief stressed the importance of joint operations among Pakistan’s armed forces, noting that the Pakistan Navy continues to strengthen its capabilities through modernization and advanced platforms to safeguard maritime interests. He reaffirmed the military’s commitment to defending the country and maintaining regional peace and stability.

A total of 113 aviation cadets graduated during the ceremony. Awards were presented to outstanding performers, including Squadron Under Officer Nad-e-Ali for overall excellence in general service training. Cadets Navaira Shahzad and Muhammad Abdullah Ejaz received top honors in engineering and air defence, while Faran Javed was recognized for excellence in the combat support course. Basit Aliyan Siddiqui and Salman Saeed were awarded Swords of Honour for their achievements in aeronautical engineering and flying training.

The ceremony was attended by senior military officials, distinguished guests, and families of the cadets. It concluded with a flypast of PAF fighter aircraft, including the JF-17 Thunder and F-16, followed by an aerobatic display by the Sherdils formation team.
