British delegation and Pakistan Airports Authority discuss to enhance aviation cooperation

Pakistan, UK discuss aviation cooperation during meeting at PAA headquarters  

A delegation from the British High Commission Karachi, led by Deputy Head of Mission Tom Burge, called on Director General Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed, at the PAA Headquarters located at Jinnah International Airport on Thursday.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in detailed and productive discussions on strengthening cooperation in aviation sector development. They reviewed potential areas for collaboration, with a focus on infrastructure modernization, capacity building, and other shared priorities aimed at reinforcing bilateral ties.

Deputy Director General (Works & Development) of PAA, Mr. Sumair Saeed, also attended the meeting.

The DG PAA briefed the visiting delegation on ongoing initiatives to upgrade airport infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency across the country. He reiterated the Authority’s commitment to fostering international partnerships to support sustainable growth in Pakistan’s aviation sector.

The British delegation appreciated the progress achieved by PAA and conveyed strong interest in exploring further avenues of cooperation for mutual benefit.

The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to deepening Pakistan–United Kingdom collaboration in aviation.
