Over 1,100 trainees pass-out at PAF Airmen Academy, Karachi
A passing-out parade for trainees
from entries No. 2306, 2406, and 2412 was held at the PAF Airmen Academy,
Korangi. Air Marshal Kashif Qamar, Deputy President of the NASTP Advisory
Board, Pakistan Air Force, was the Chief Guest at the ceremony. Upon his
arrival, he was received by Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Shahid Afzaal, Air Officer
Commanding of the PAF Airmen Academy, Korangi Creek.
A total of 1,155 trainees from the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy, and allied countries successfully completed their training.

In his address, the Chief Guest highlighted
that the Pakistan Air Force is renowned internationally for its combat
efficiency, owing to its courage, operational readiness, and professional
excellence. He noted that, in line with the vision of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer
Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, the PAF Airmen Academy at Korangi is
focused on providing training that meets the evolving demands of modern
warfare. This training is designed to prepare airmen for future challenges.
The Chief Guest emphasized that the PAF’s
history reflects its consistent ability to rise to the occasion in times of
trial, showcasing remarkable valor and unmatched professionalism. With the
induction of advanced aircraft and sophisticated air defense systems, the PAF
is now counted among the world’s leading air forces. He also praised the PAF’s
success in Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos, which demonstrated the highest
standards of operational readiness and effective leadership.
He further noted the importance of integrating Multi-Domain Operations—such as space, cyber, and electronic warfare—into training to equip airmen with the necessary skills for contemporary warfare, ensuring that they are prepared to meet future challenges head-on.

During the ceremony, several awards were
presented to high-achieving trainees. The prestigious Chief of the Air Staff
Trophy for Overall Best Performance was awarded to Aircraftman Sergeant Ahmed
Hussain Arif, setting a standard for all-around excellence. The Asghar Khan
Trophy for Best in Aeronautics was presented to Aircraftman Hamza Ali, while
Aircraftman Sergeant Ahmed Hussain Arif also received the Nur Khan Trophy for
his expertise in Aero Avionics Technology.
In recognition of exceptional professionalism
in general training, Academy Sergeant Aircraftman Shafaat Noor earned the Air
Officer Commanding Trophy for Best in General Service Training. Additionally,
the Best Performance Trophy for the Foreign Trainee was awarded to LAC THGND
Herath from Sri Lanka.
The Chief Guest congratulated the graduating trainees and their families, offering his best wishes for success in their future roles. He also commended the Academy’s instructional staff for their unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to shaping the future of the PAF.
