Interior Minister review immigration process at Lahore Airport
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi,
along with Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, visited Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport
on Sunday to review the immigration process.
During the visit, the ministers
inspected all immigration counters, interacted with passengers, and asked for
their feedback on the procedures. Naqvi also commended an FIA official posted
at an immigration counter for his efficient performance.
Some passengers complained that
boarding was delayed due to prolonged checking of a traveler, while others
stated that the immigration process was completed within minutes.

Addressing the media, Naqvi said
that safeguarding Pakistan’s dignity and ensuring passenger convenience were
his top priorities. He emphasized that no passenger with incomplete
documentation would be allowed to travel.
The interior minister further stated
that anyone who brings disrepute to Pakistan deserves imprisonment.
Regional Director FIA Lahore Ali Zia
and Deputy Director Airport Awais were also present during the visit.
