Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder fighter jet drew steady interest at the Dubai Airshow 2025, attracting visitors to both its flying demonstration and static display, where many came to learn about the multirole aircraft and its latest Block III variant.

Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra is showcasing its aviation and aerospace
portfolio at the event, including the JF-17 program, indigenous avionics, and
maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities.
As part of Pakistan’s participation, the
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has deployed two JF-17 Block III aircraft—one taking
part in the aerobatic flying display and the other positioned in the static
area alongside a selection of associated weapons.

Flying display
During its aerobatic routine, the JF-17
performed a series of precise manoeuvres that captured the attention of
aviation enthusiasts and industry professionals. Many spectators later visited
the static display to meet PAF pilots, take photographs, and seek technical
insights. Visitors praised the coordination and professionalism of the PAF
crew.
At the static display, PAF officers briefed
attendees on the Block III’s advanced avionics, multirole capabilities,
sensors, and weapons systems. The full complement of weapons on show further
heightened interest, allowing guests to examine the aircraft’s operational
configuration up close.
Largest edition of the airshow
Dubai Airshow 2025 hosts more than 1,500
exhibitors, including 440 first-time participants, and welcomes 148,000 trade
visitors and 490 delegations from 115 countries. Over 200 commercial, military,
private, and unmanned platforms are featured across flying and static
displays—making this the largest edition in the event’s history.
