Pakistan Army introduces FATAH-IV ground-launched cruise missile
Pakistan’s Army has introduced the
FATAH-IV, a new ground-launched subsonic cruise missile boasting a
750-kilometer range and pinpoint accuracy of five meters, according to Clash
Report.
Weighing 1,530 kilograms and
carrying a 330-kilogram warhead, the FATAH-IV travels at approximately 0.7
Mach, enabling strikes deep inside enemy territory. It is mounted on a
Chinese-built Taian TA5450 8×8 transporter-launcher, which carries three
ready-to-fire missiles. The platform’s high mobility allows rapid repositioning
to evade preemptive attacks—an advantage in modern missile warfare.

The system’s precision and payload are optimized for high-value fixed targets such as command centers, airbases, and critical infrastructure. Its range brings multiple regional objectives within reach, strengthening Pakistan’s conventional deterrent alongside its ballistic missile arsenal.
The debut underscores Pakistan’s
ongoing push to expand indigenous missile capabilities while leveraging foreign
launch systems to enhance operational flexibility.
