SF Cargo launches flights at Urumqi-Islamabad route
SF Cargo has officially launched its
operations at Islamabad International Airport, marking a significant step for
Pakistan’s air freight sector. The cargo flights, designated as Flight
03-233/234, are operating on the Urumqi-Islamabad-Urumqi (URC-ISB-URC) route
using a Boeing 757-200 aircraft. Each flight carries around 22,775 kg of cargo,
contributing significantly to the country’s freight industry, according to a
statement from the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
Currently, SF Cargo operates twice a
week on Tuesdays and Fridays, with an estimated arrival time of 11:30 AM at
Islamabad International Airport. The carrier plans to increase its frequency to
four flights per week (Tuesday through Friday) in the near future.
