Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) looks to recruit staff

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has launched an extensive recruitment campaign, inviting applications for Cabin Crew and Pilot roles. This move comes as the airline prepares to resume flights to the UK and enhance its operations.

PIA has opened positions for both Cabin Crew members and ATR Pilots, including First Officers and Captains, in anticipation of expanding its international services. The announcement was made through the airline’s official social media platforms.

Cabin Crew Recruitment:

PIA is hiring 40 Cabin Crew members (both male and female), welcoming both fresh graduates and experienced professionals. Ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Minimum graduation from an HEC-recognized institution.
  • Age: Cabin Crew Trainees (under 25 years), Experienced Crew (under 30 years).
  • Physical Requirements: Well-groomed appearance; minimum height: 5'6" (males), 5'2" (females).
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Urdu.
  • Health Standards: Must meet PIA’s health and vision requirements.

Pilot Recruitment:

PIA is also hiring 20 ATR Pilots, including First Officers and Captains. Applicants must meet the following experience requirements:

  • Captain: Minimum 1,500 flying hours.
  • First Officer: Minimum 500 flying hours.
  • Qualification: Valid CPL/ATPL with IR certification from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.
  • Age Limit: Captains (up to 50 years), First Officers (up to 40 years).

Salary & Benefits:
Successful candidates will receive attractive salary packages and opportunities to fly internationally. Pilots will be required to provide a refundable bank guarantee of PKR 5,000,000 and sign a training bond.

Interested applicants can submit their applications through the PIA website or the National Job Portal, with a processing fee of Rs2,000. Applicants must provide required documents, including qualification certificates, identity proof, and passport-sized photographs, to the PIA recruitment office.
