In his address, General Sahir emphasized the unwavering commitment of the armed forces to defend and protect Pakistan. “The Pakistan Air Force stands as the guardian of our airspace, fully equipped and prepared to counter any aggression,” he stated. He highlighted the importance of following the exemplary leadership of Rashid Manhas and Sarfraz Zarfiqi, recalling the nation’s pride on February 27, 2019, when the PAF demonstrated its resolve during Operation Swift Retort.

General Sahir affirmed, “The nation stands firmly behind our armed forces in the ongoing war against terrorism.” He addressed the evolving global order, noting that while international norms are changing, unresolved conflicts in South Asia are undermining regional stability. “Pakistan envisions a global order built on peace and shared development. However, the aggressive military advancements and offensive doctrines of our eastern neighbor are creating conventional asymmetry,” he remarked.
