Pope Francis uses Pakistani airspace to fly to Jakarta

During his flight from Italy to Jakarta, Pope Francis' special aircraft traversed Pakistani airspace, according to aviation sources.

As the plane entered Pakistan's airspace, passing through the Karachi flight region after crossing from Tehran, Pope Francis sent a message of goodwill. The Air Traffic Control warmly welcomed the aircraft.
