Transport Canada team conducts security audit at Karachi Airport
A two-member delegation from Transport Canada, currently visiting Pakistan,
has conducted an inspection of the aviation security system at Karachi's Jinnah
International Airport.
During their four-day stay in the country, the delegation, comprised of
transportation security inspectors Barbara and Abdul Tahir, is evaluating the
implementation of various aviation security protocols.

They are specifically reviewing the enhanced security measures in place for
Pakistan International Airlines' (PIA) direct flights to Canada.
A spokesperson from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) highlighted
that this visit by Transport Canada is part of ongoing efforts to further
enhance aviation security measures in Pakistan.
