Pakistan announces successful test launch of Fatah long-range missile
The Pakistani Armed Forces have successfully launched the homemade
Fatah 2 missile system.
In a statement released on Thursday, Pakistan's Ministry of
Defence indicated that the test aimed to verify the missile's technical
parameters and systems.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Saher Shamshad Mirza
congratulated the armed forces and the system developers on the successful
test.

test launches Ghauri Missile Weapon System
The Fatah 2 missile system features a satellite guidance system,
enabling it to accurately hit targets up to 400 kms away.
According to Pakistani media, the system was developed by the
Pakistani company Geddes and is considered an analogue to the American HIMARS
system.
It was first tested in Pakistan in August 2021.
