Pivotal role of airpower highlighted at PAF graduation ceremony

 

Airpower has a vital role in future conflicts: AVM

The graduation ceremony of No 59 Combat Commanders’ Course was held at the PAF Airpower Centre of Excellence (ACE).

Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operations), was chief guest on the occasion.

In his address to the graduating Officers, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed emphasized the pivotalrole of air power in future conflicts, stressing that every member of the Pakistan Air Force must be prepared to uphold the nation's aerial defenses.

He underscored the importance of maintaining operational agility and readiness to meet strategic goals.

Furthermore, he highlighted the ongoing transformative initiatives within the PAF aimed at smart inductions and rapid operationalization cycles. Deputy Chief of the Air Staff (Operations) reiterated the critical role of Combat Commanders in propelling the PAF towards its aspiration of becoming a "Next Generation Air Force".

The Chief Guest commended the dedication of the faculty and expressed satisfaction with the seamless collaboration among all branches of the PAF ACE, working collectively to groom the future combat leadership of the Pakistan Air Force.
