The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has extended the

the region.
Following the completion of all prerequisites, the PCAA has
granted K2 Airways the necessary license, enabling it to proceed with its

Although K2 Airways may have opted out of applying for the TPRI
license due to internal business considerations, the airline is actively
pursuing the acquisition of an aircraft for its operations.
This renewal underscores the mutual dedication of both the PCAA
and K2 Airways to upholding stringent safety and service standards within the
aviation industry.
Last year, a statement by the company said it intends to introduce
Embraer E-Jets in Pakistan's commercial aviation.
The company said it aims to link under-utilised and smaller
airports of Pakistan with Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore to make travel
convenient for national travellers.
