Residential complex completed at Gwadar
Airport
The China Airport Construction Company (CACC) has completed the
construction of a "Modern Residential Complex" at Gwadar, coinciding
with the finalization of the New Gwadar International Airport's civil work.
This Residential Complex, consisting of four buildings along with
a school and hospital, is designated for use by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)
officials in Pakistan. Equipped with centralized air conditioning, the complex
ensures uninterrupted power supply, a comprehensive sewerage network, potable
water pipelines, and forthcoming Wi-Fi connectivity.

To promote a healthier and more livable environment, green spaces
are being developed around the complex, enhancing its eco-friendliness and
aesthetic appeal. In the initial phase, trees will be planted both within and
outside the complex, fostering a greener ecosystem.
The government plans to subject the New Gwadar International
Airport to inspections by international bodies such as the International Civil
Aviation Organization (ICAO) and security agencies like the European Citizen
Action Service (ECAS) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA). These
inspections aim to ensure the implementation of stringent security standards.
