IBA and CATI sign MoU to launch ‘Diploma in Aviation Leadership’ Program

‘Diploma in Aviation Leadership’ Program to be launched in Pakistan

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Center for Executive Education (IBA-CEE) and the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI) have formalized their collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at PAA’s Headquarters.

This strategic partnership aims to launch a Diploma in Aviation Leadership and Management, designed to provide professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the dynamic aviation industry.

The MoU was signed by Dr. S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA Karachi, and AVM Zeeshan Saeed, Director General of PAA.

Engr. Sumair Saeed, Director of CATI, welcomed the attendees and expressed gratitude for their participation, highlighting the potential impact of this collaboration. Dr. Abdullah Zafar Sheikh, Dean of the School of Business Studies (IBA-SBS), and Kamran Bilgrami, Director of IBA-CEE, both underscored the growing need for skilled leadership and strategic management as the aviation sector in Pakistan continues to evolve. 

In addition to the diploma program, this partnership is set to strengthen Pakistan's aviation industry through various capacity-building initiatives. The collaboration will focus on leadership excellence, specialized training, and industry-driven learning solutions to shape the future of aviation professionals and enhance operational capabilities across the sector.
