Pakistan air chief, US ambassador discuss cooperation in air forces' training
Pakistan and the United States have jointly advocated for an
increased momentum in the training activities of their air forces. US
Ambassador to Pakistan, Donald Blome, met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed
Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, at his office in
Islamabad on Tuesday.
During the meeting, both dignitaries expressed their shared desire
to enhance training collaboration between the two air forces. They emphasized
the importance of fostering a robust exchange of delegations and knowledge
sharing to strengthen the capabilities of both the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and
the US Air Force.

Discussions also centered around collaboration in recently
established techno parks, focusing on leveraging technological advancements to
enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Reorganization of mutual
cooperation parameters was deliberated upon, aiming to strengthen existing ties
and explore new avenues for joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
The Air Chief highlighted the cordial relations between the two
nations and expressed determination to elevate the existing synergistic
partnership between Pakistan and the United States. He emphasized the robust
diplomatic, economic, and defense ties firmly rooted in mutual consensus
concerning regional peace, security, and stability.

The US envoy praised the professionalism of Pakistan Air Force
personnel and acknowledged the significant strides made by the PAF through
indigenization under current leadership. The ambassador also commended

Both sides agreed to optimize the existing military-to-military relationship
with a specific focus on enriching training programs and strengthening
operational competencies.
