Pakistan’s second chartered plane arrives in Egypt to
deliver aid for Gazans
A second privately chartered plane, transporting 89.6 tons
of humanitarian aid from Pakistan destined for the people of Gaza, has
successfully landed in Egypt.
The relief supplies have been officially transferred to the
Egyptian Red Crescent Society, who will oversee their onward delivery to the
Palestine Red Crescent Society located in Gaza.
In late October, a specialized aircraft carrying 81 tons of
humanitarian and medical aid from Pakistan for the people of Gaza had arrived
at Egypt's El-Arish International Airport.
Pakistan's Ambassador to Egypt, Sajid Bilal, officially
handed over this aid to the Egyptian Red Crescent Society for onward delivery
to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza.
In a statement, the embassy expressed Pakistan's unwavering
solidarity with the people of Palestine during this critical period and pledged
to continue providing essential relief assistance.
