Pakistan's JF-17 Thunder jets to participate in 'Bright Star 2023' Air Exercise in Egypt

Pakistan's participation in the multinational air exercise 'Bright Star 2023,' hosted by Egypt, demonstrates Islamabad's exceptional capabilities, according to a PAF spokesperson. The exercise aims to enhance combat readiness and focuses on air-to-air combat training with an emphasis on counterterrorism operations.

The air drill, taking place at Mohammad Najeeb Military Base in Egypt, offers an opportunity for participating countries to test their operational readiness in a realistic air combat scenario. It spans two weeks and involves air, naval, and land assets in Egypt's desert region, northwest of Cairo.

This joint air exercise, Exercise Bright Star, is one of the largest and most complex globally, highlighting the commitment to mutual cooperation among participating nations and providing valuable opportunities for joint training.
