Pakistan issues updated flight guidelines for Afghanistan flights

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has introduced new directives for flights originating from Afghanistan and entering into Pakistani airspace.

According to the updated guidelines, all flights entering Pakistani airspace from Afghanistan are now required to provide a minimum of 15 minutes advance notice.

The Civil Aviation Authority has further specified that air traffic services will be made available for flights traveling within Pakistani airspace provided that prior notice is given.

This air traffic service coverage will be extended through district control centers located in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Additionally, flights will benefit from air traffic services via the Dushanbe-Islamabad Region Control Air Link, a measure aimed at enhancing communication and coordination for flights traversing the region.
