Ethiopia and Pakistan seek
to strengthen aviation cooperation
Ethiopia and Pakistan are
exploring opportunities to enhance collaboration in the aviation sector, aiming
to bring the two nations closer and foster better people-to-people and
business-to-business contacts between the countries, as well as with Africa at
large. During a meeting between Jemal Beker Abdula, Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) to
Pakistan, and Khawaja Saad Rafique, the Federal Minister for Aviation and
Railways, various proposals were discussed to expand cooperation in aviation.

collaboration between Ethiopian Airlines and Pakistan International Airlines
(PIA). Ambassador Jemal Beker expressed gratitude to Minister Khawaja Saad and
his team for their instrumental role in the commencement of Ethiopian Airlines'
operations in Karachi. This development is expected to further strengthen
commerce and trade linkages between Ethiopia and Pakistan.
Minister Khawaja Saad

bilateral relations between the two countries. He also highlighted Ethiopia's
significance as a gateway to Africa and the headquarters of the African Union,
