Security arrangements at
Islamabad International Airport lauded
Jawad Sohrab Malik, the
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Interior, paid a visit to
Islamabad International Airport on Monday to oversee the operational procedures
of the security agencies.
Upon his arrival, SAPM
Malik was warmly received by officials from the Airport Security Force (ASF),
Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Pakistan Customs, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA),
and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
During his visit, Malik
toured various sections of the airport and received comprehensive briefings on
essential aspects of security-related operations.
He was apprised of the
ongoing projects aimed at facilitating passengers traveling to and from
Pakistan.
Malik expressed his
appreciation for the dedicated efforts of all departments involved in ensuring
the seamless arrival and departure of international passengers.
However, he also
acknowledged that a few passengers and departmental employees had raised
legitimate concerns that require immediate attention.
