Jawad Sohrab Malik, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Interior, paid a visit to Islamabad International Airport on Monday to oversee the operational procedures of the security agencies.

Upon his arrival, SAPM Malik was warmly received by officials from the Airport Security Force (ASF), Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Pakistan Customs, Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

During his visit, Malik toured various sections of the airport and received comprehensive briefings on essential aspects of security-related operations.

He was apprised of the ongoing projects aimed at facilitating passengers traveling to and from Pakistan.

Malik expressed his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of all departments involved in ensuring the seamless arrival and departure of international passengers.

However, he also acknowledged that a few passengers and departmental employees had raised legitimate concerns that require immediate attention.
