Royal Jordanian Airlines planning to expand services to Pakistan
Royal Jordanian Airlines is set to begin
operating four weekly flights to Karachi, marking a planned expansion of the
Jordanian flag carrier’s services to Pakistan.
According to the tentative schedule, two of the weekly flights will be
operated using Airbus A320neo aircraft, while the remaining two frequencies are
expected to be operated with Embraer E190 aircraft. The introduction of the
four weekly services will provide an additional air link between Karachi and
Amman, potentially strengthening connectivity between Pakistan and Jordan.
The airline is also understood to be considering an expansion to Lahore in
the near future, which would give Royal Jordanian a presence in another major
Pakistani market and further broaden its network in the country.

The current flight timings and operating schedule remain tentative and may
be revised before the launch. Any changes to the schedule are expected to be
communicated through Royal Jordanian’s official channels following discussions
and coordination by the airline’s local team in Karachi.
The planned expansion comes as airlines continue to adjust their
international networks and explore opportunities in South Asian markets. For
passengers, the addition of Royal Jordanian services could provide another
option for travel between Pakistan and Jordan, as well as onward connections
through Royal Jordanian’s network from its hub in Amman.
Further details regarding launch dates, flight timings, fares and the
proposed Lahore service are expected to be announced by Royal Jordanian once
the plans are finalized.
