Pakistan Airports Authority to develop food and leisure facilities at airport car parks

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced plans to develop a curated micro-food network and leisure ecosystem within the parking areas of major airports across the country. The initiative, termed Park Eat Play (PEP), is designed to enhance passenger experience, increase dwell-time engagement, and generate non-aeronautical revenue.

Under a Master Retailer model, PAA is inviting Expressions of Interest (EoI) from reputable and experienced firms for the development, deployment, operation, and management of these food and leisure zones. The program will deploy modular, technology-enabled, and sustainable solutions to create vibrant spaces for travelers and their families.

The initiative will initially target major airports, including:

  • Islamabad International Airport
  • Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), Karachi
  • Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP), Lahore
  • Multan International Airport

Food Offerings

The micro-food network will feature a variety of curated options through food carts, including:

  • Premium ice cream
  • Hot and cold beverages
  • Korean snacks
  • Chaat and street food
  • Middle Eastern cuisine
