Pakistan Airports Authority working to improve infrastructure at Nawabshah Airport
The Pakistan Airports Authority
(PAA) has announced an invitation for sealed bids from eligible constructors
for the construction of the main gate and allied works at Nawabshah Airport.
The project is part of ongoing efforts to improve the infrastructure at
regional airports across Pakistan.
The bid is open to licensed
constructors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category
C-6 or above and those possessing an active National Tax Number (NTN).
Interested contractors must submit their bids electronically through the Public
Procurement Regulatory Authority’s (PPRA) E-PADS portal at eprocure.gov.pk.
The Earnest Money for the tender is
set at Rs. 800,000, and bids must be submitted no later than April 22, 2026, at
11:00 AM. The bids will be opened on the same day, at 11:30 AM, in a public
meeting at the PAA office.

The PAA has outlined strict terms
and conditions for the tendering process. All bidders are required to submit
their bids in the prescribed format, with original documents uploaded to the
e-PADS system. A scanned copy of the bid security instrument (pay order or bank
draft) must be attached to the bid. Bids without this security or any false
documentation will not be considered.
Additionally, conditional tenders
will not be accepted. Any bids that do not meet the specified requirements or
fail to include the correct documents will be rejected, and the bid security
will be forfeited.
Warning
to Contractors
The PAA has also warned bidders that
submitting incorrect or fraudulent information, including improper financial
instruments marked as “Bid Security” or “Bank Guarantees,” will result in the
bidder being blacklisted. Legal action will be taken against contractors who
attempt to bypass the procedures, in accordance with the provisions of the
Public Procurement Regulatory Authority.
