Two pilots survive small plane crash near New Islamabad International Airport

A plane crash occurred near New Islamabad International Airport on Saturday, causing concern among local residents. The aircraft, a privately-owned training plane from a local flying club, crashed in the fields of Rama village, not far from Tower 39 in the airport’s restricted area.

Initial reports indicate that both pilots—Captain Nawroz and trainee pilot Ayesha—survived the crash. They were promptly taken to the Trauma Center for medical evaluation.

Emergency responders reached the site quickly, administering first aid before transporting the pilots to the hospital. Thankfully, no fatalities were reported, and both pilots are said to be in stable condition.

Authorities have cordoned off the crash site and are currently investigating the cause of the incident. Despite the alarming situation, aviation officials confirmed there was no further danger to the public.
