On the directive of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan will establish dedicated immigration counters exclusively for foreign nationals at all international airports throughout the country.

The Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing stated that this move aims to boost tourism, ensure smooth continuation of business activities, and provide enhanced facilitation for foreign investors.
Faster Processing for All Passengers
By introducing separate counters for foreign travelers,
immigration wait times are expected to decrease significantly. This separation
will also expedite the processing for returning Pakistani citizens, improving
the overall airport experience.
