All Pakistani airlines can fly to UK after getting permission
Pakistan International Airlines Corporation Limited (PSX:
PIAHCLA) has clarified that the recent clearance by the UK Civil Aviation
Authority (UK CAA) applies to Pakistan’s aviation regulatory framework as a
whole, not to any specific airline.
The clearance, granted to the Pakistan Civil Aviation
Authority (PCAA), affirms that Pakistani carriers now meet UK safety oversight
standards. However, each airline, including PIA, must apply separately for
licenses and route permissions before resuming direct flights to the UK.

The airline added that media references to “PIA” were symbolic
of the broader return of Pakistani airlines to the UK market, and not an
announcement of immediate PIA flight operations.
Additionally, PIAHCL addressed recent fluctuations in the
share price of PIAHCLB, stating it is not aware of any undisclosed or
price-sensitive information that would explain the movement.
