Connectivity between Pakistan, Iran to improve after start of weekly flights of Iran Air
In a move aimed at strengthening economic and
travel ties between Pakistan and Iran, Iran Air has launched a weekly flight
service from Quetta to Zahedan and Mashhad. The announcement was made by Acting
Consul General of Iran, Ali Reza Rajai, alongside Iran Air Chief Agha Karimi
and Deputy Chief Agha Ismail, during a ceremony organized by the Pak-Iran Joint
Chamber of Commerce.
The officials highlighted the strategic
importance of the new route, which is expected to facilitate cross-border trade
and reduce both travel time and transportation costs for Pakistani and Iranian
businesses. The service will also include cargo facilities, creating new
opportunities for regional exporters.

Rajai called for improved visa facilitation,

Environmental Advisor Naseem Rehman Mullah Khel
and Chamber representatives welcomed the initiative, describing it as a
significant step forward for regional trade integration.
Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai, Patron-in-Chief of
the Joint Chamber, presented honorary shields to the Iranian delegation and praised
their commitment to fostering closer business ties between the two neighboring
nations.
