Iran's Taban Airline starts direct flights to Pakistan

Taban Air, another Iranian airline, has commenced its flight operations to Pakistan. The inaugural flight departed from Karachi to Mashhad with 80 passengers onboard.

The launch ceremony for Taban Air's inaugural flight took place at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and the Iranian consul general participated in the ceremony, marking the occasion by cutting a cake.

Officials from the Civil Aviation Authority and Airport Security Force were also in attendance.

Pakistan to enhance regional air connectivity

Initially, Taban Air will operate one flight per week, with plans to increase frequency in the future. This development signifies a new addition to the friendly relations between the two countries.

In a similar move, Azerbaijan's national airline, AZAL, has also launched direct flights to Pakistan, enhancing travel options between the two countries.

These developments reflect the growing connectivity and accessibility in the international aviation landscape.
