Pakistan Airports Authority looking to award digital advertising projects at airports

The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a call for Expressions of Interest (EoI) from qualified advertising firms and media agencies to undertake digital branding and advertising projects at the country’s three major airports.

The initiative covers Islamabad International Airport (IIAP), Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) in Karachi, and Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIAP) in Lahore, aiming to modernize and enhance visual communication and brand presence across these key aviation hubs.

According to the PAA, selected firms will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of digital advertising installations across several high-visibility zones, including access roads, landside areas, parking zones, and both the interior and exterior of the Passenger Terminal Buildings.

The authority is particularly interested in cutting-edge formats such as digital screens, LED video walls, and 3D installations. Bidders are required to provide detailed specifications for each proposed medium, including dimensions, resolution, and placement strategy. The emphasis will be on maximizing visibility without disrupting airport operations.

In addition to technical details, the proposals must include full-color visual concepts that demonstrate the aesthetic and commercial impact of the branding elements. Applicants must also specify whether the bid is for a short-term contract (up to 12 months) or long-term engagement (up to five years), accompanied by a clear implementation timeline.

Firms with a proven track record in managing similar projects—especially within airports or comparable commercial venues—are encouraged to apply. Proposals should also detail prior clients, project outcomes, and relevant references.

Finally, all submissions must outline a commercial offer, including proposed monthly or annual licensing fees payable to the PAA.
