Etihad Airways to launch flights between Peshawar and Abu Dhabi
Etihad Airways is set to introduce
Peshawar as its fourth destination in Pakistan, starting on September 29, 2025.
Initially, the airline will operate five weekly flights from Abu Dhabi’s Zayed
International Airport (AUH) to Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport
(PEW). Beginning November 22, 2025, this service will increase to daily
flights.

This new route will make Peshawar
the latest addition to Etihad Airways’ growing presence in Pakistan, joining
Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore. Known for its rich culture, history, and vibrant
energy, Peshawar is an ideal destination for both business travelers and
tourists. Attractions like the Peshawar Museum, Mahabat Khan Mosque, and the
renowned Qissa Khawani Bazaar await visitors.

Etihad will operate this route with its Airbus A320 family aircraft, which will feature 8 business class seats and 150 economy class seats. Passengers can look forward to the airline's signature world-class service on this new route. Daily operations will begin on November 22, 2025.

Neves, expressed excitement about the new route: “We are thrilled to expand our
footprint in Pakistan with daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Peshawar. This
new route underscores our commitment to providing essential connectivity for
travelers between Pakistan and key regions, including the Gulf, Africa, Europe,
and North America. Additionally, we are increasing our flight frequency to
Karachi to 17 flights a week starting October 1.”

Expanding Global Reach
The launch of the Peshawar route is
part of Etihad Airways’ broader expansion plan for 2025, which includes 16 new
destinations. These additions feature popular cities such as Tunis, Prague,
Addis Ababa, Warsaw, and Atlanta. The airline is also increasing its flight
offerings to major European cities, including Zurich, Manchester, Frankfurt,
Madrid, Paris, and Milan, making it easier for passengers to travel to and from
destinations across the globe.
