Airblue announces direct flights between Karachi and Skardu
Pakistan’s private airline, Airblue,
has officially announced the launch of direct flights from Karachi to the
breathtaking destination of Skardu.
The airline shared the news on
social media, confirming that it will operate two weekly flights between the
southern port city and the mountainous northern region.
The inaugural flight is scheduled to
depart from Karachi on May 3rd, with additional flights listed for May 7th,
10th, and 14th, according to the airline’s website.

As for ticket prices, fares currently range between Rs 31,000, varying slightly based on class and booking date.
This move comes shortly after
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also announced the resumption of its
Skardu-bound flights from Dubai, Islamabad, Karachi, and Lahore, signaling a
renewed interest in boosting tourism to the picturesque Gilgit-Baltistan
region.
