Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enter into agreement to facilitate Hajj pilgrims
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has partnered with
Saudi Airlines to streamline Hajj travel arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims.
The agreement, signed on Thursday,
designates Saudi Airlines to provide travel services for 35,000
government-sponsored Hajj pilgrims. The signing ceremony was attended by Sultan
Al-Harbi, Country Manager of Saudi Airlines in Pakistan, and Dr. Syed
Ata-ur-Rehman, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and
Interfaith Harmony.

Speaking at the event, Sultan
Al-Harbi assured that Saudi Airlines is committed to delivering top-tier
services to Pakistani pilgrims. Dr. Ata-ur-Rehman highlighted the ministry's
dedication to ensuring smooth and quality arrangements for pilgrims during
their sacred journey.
This collaboration complements a
previous agreement between the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Pakistan
International Airlines (PIA), which also committed to transporting 35,000
pilgrims as part of the 2024 Hajj operations.
