The suspect, who entered Pakistan on
a visit visa, is now facing charges under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and an
investigation has been launched.
This arrest follows the successful
interception of a major drug smuggling operation by the ANF in October. A
substantial narcotics haul was seized near the Mackeran Coastal Line, including
60 kilograms of ice, concealed in various packets and boxes. The suspects
managed to escape into the sea, and efforts to locate them are ongoing. A case
has also been registered for this incident under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
