Bahrain International Airshow kicks off at Sakhir Air Base 

The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) is set to take off at Sakhir Air Base from November 13 to 15, offering a dynamic showcase of aviation excellence. With daily hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, this year’s event promises to be one of the most spectacular yet, featuring over 125 aircraft on display and thrilling flying demonstrations starting a
t 1 PM each day.

Renowned for its breathtaking aerobatic displays and high-level networking opportunities, BIAS attracts global attention, and this year is no exception. One of the highlights is the participation of the Royal Saudi Air Force, which will present the Saudi Hawks aerobatic team. Known for their precision flying skills, the Saudi Hawks will demonstrate their expertise with six BAE Hawk Mk.65 aircraft, underscoring the Saudi Air Force’s advanced aerial capabilities.

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will also return to the event following a successful joint exercise with China, showcasing its aerial prowess as the world’s eighth-largest air force. Pakistan’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to highlighting its defense innovations and enhancing its global aerospace presence.

The 2024 airshow is held under the patronage of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the supervision of Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa. It promises to be a major gathering for aviation leaders, offering conferences, panels, and networking events that provide valuable opportunities for collaboration and business growth.

Now in its 14th year, BIAS has solidified its position as one of the most prestigious events in the global aerospace calendar.
