Meeting reviews progress on Pakistani airports’ outsourcing  

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar presided over the 13th meeting of the Steering Committee on Airports Outsourcing, focusing on the ongoing technical evaluation of bids managed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC).

Dar reviewed the progress on technical assessments and instructed relevant authorities to conduct the bidding process transparently and efficiently.

He highlighted the importance of meeting the November 7 deadline to finalize the outsourcing process, a step aimed at improving operational efficiency and service quality at Pakistan’s airports.

This outsourcing initiative is part of the government’s strategy to attract foreign investment and modernize essential infrastructure sectors.
