PIA moves closer to resuming flights to the UK and Europe

In a related development, PIA is making progress toward resuming flights to the UK and Europe. Talks between Pakistan’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and European and UK aviation authorities on September 13 focused on addressing technical issues and aligning safety and operational standards. These discussions represent a mutual effort to restore suspended flight routes and ensure compliance with European and British aviation regulations.

PIA’s efforts to resume these international routes are expected to enhance its global connectivity, contributing to both tourism and business travel. This move signals a broader expansion of PIA’s international operations, reinforcing Pakistan’s economic ties with Europe.
