Pakistan Air Chief awarded Saudi medal of Excellent Class
On February 27, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Chief of the General Staff
Gen. Fayyad Al-Ruwaili had the honor of presenting the prestigious King
Abdulaziz Medal of the Excellent Class to Pakistani Air Force Chief Air Chief
Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu during a reception.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, also the Supreme
Commander of the Saudi Armed Forces, granted approval for this distinguished
award to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu in recognition of his
exceptional efforts in fortifying the bonds of friendship, fostering joint
cooperation, and advancing the development of Saudi-Pakistani relations.

At the reception, which was attended by Lt. Gen. Turki bin Bandar,
commander of the Air Force, and several senior air force officers, Gen. Fayyad
Al-Ruwaili represented Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman. During the
event, discussions centered on bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and
Pakistan, with a focus on enhancing cooperation in defense and military
spheres. Various topics of mutual interest were also deliberated upon during
the meeting.
