UAE assessing Pakistani airports for Etihad Airways flights
The General Civil Aviation Authority
(GCAA) of the United Arab Emirates is currently conducting an assessment at
Islamabad International Airport (IIAP).
The GCAA team is evaluating a range
of security measures at the airport, focusing on the protection of Etihad
Airways flights and security protocols at IIAP's Cargo Complex in Islamabad.

(retd), the Aviation Security (AVSEC) Directorate of the Pakistan Civil Aviation
Authority provided a comprehensive briefing to the GCAA assessment team on the
airport's security measures.
The assessment is scheduled to
conclude later this week, ensuring a thorough review of aviation security at
Islamabad International Airport.
