Gwadar Airport suspends flight operations until Tuesday

 

Flood situation forces closure of Gwadar Airport 

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) announced on Saturday the suspension of flight operations at Gwadar Airport until Tuesday.

As per a private news channel, the decision is in response to the flood situation in Gwadar, as confirmed by the CAA spokesperson.

A notice has been issued, affirming the cessation of flight operations at Gwadar Airport until Tuesday.

Earlier, the Balochistan government declared a state of emergency and labeled Gwadar a calamity-hit area due to heavy rains causing substantial damage in the city.
