Pakistan's budget airline starts flights between Islamabad and Sharjah
Fly Jinnah, Pakistan's budget airline, has officially expanded its
services into the international market with the launch of flights between
Sharjah and Islamabad. The inaugural flight is set to depart on February 17,
marking a significant milestone for the airline.
To support its international ventures, Fly Jinnah has bolstered
its fleet with the addition of two new Airbus A320 aircraft, bringing the total
number of planes in its arsenal to five. The airline aims to provide non-stop
double daily flights between Islamabad and Sharjah, emphasizing its dedication
to enhancing connectivity and strengthening the relationship between Pakistan
and the UAE.
Pakistan’s
new low-cost airline Fly Jinnah starts operations
Fly Jinnah, a collaborative effort between the Lakson Group of
Pakistan and Sharjah’s Air Arabia Group, received the necessary permits for
international operations in October of the previous year.
The airline's ambitious plans include direct operations to various
destinations such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Malaysia, Oman, Qatar,
Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkiye, and the UAE.

Having commenced operations in October 2022, Fly Jinnah has
successfully navigated the domestic sector, connecting major cities in
Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta, over the
past year.
