Fly Jinnah gears up for commencing international flight operations
In an exciting development for aviation enthusiasts and
globetrotters, Fly Jinnah, a budget-friendly airline backed by the Lakson Group
and the Air Arabia Group of the UAE, has received the green light to extend its
services to international routes.
This decision by the government, announced by the interim
Information Minister, Murtaza Solangi, follows a recommendation from the
Aviation Ministry and the approval of the Federal Cabinet.
Pakistan’s
new low-cost airline Fly Jinnah starts operations
Currently, Fly Jinnah primarily operates domestic flights,
connecting key cities within Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad,
Peshawar, and Quetta. The airline has garnered a strong reputation for its
exceptional punctuality, boasting an impressive 87.93% on-time departure rate,
surpassing that of many other carriers.
With the approval for international operations, Fly Jinnah
is now poised to link Pakistan with a range of global destinations. While the
specific international routes have not been disclosed, potential destinations
encompass Gulf countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman,
Qatar, and Kuwait. Additionally, Fly Jinnah may consider extending its services
to countries like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iraq, Malaysia, Thailand, and
Turkey.
