ICAO mission arrives in Pakistan to discuss corrective plans
for aviation
A mission from the International Civil Aviation Organization's
(ICAO) Asia-Pacific Combined Action Team (CAT) has arrived in Pakistan and is
scheduled to be present at the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) from
November 6 to November 10, 2023.
The primary aim of this mission is to support ICAO member
States as part of the No Country Left Behind (NCLB) initiative, focusing on
assisting them in preparing for future ICAO validation missions.
It is essential to clarify that the team's visit is not intended
for conducting audits. Instead, their sole purpose is to discuss corrective
plans that have already been submitted by the CAA and to provide assistance if
further improvements are necessary.

The CAT mission is distinct from the activities of Pakistani

countries.
The ICAO's delegation, led by Dr. Manjit Singh, received a
warm welcome at Jinnah International Airport from senior officials of the PCAA.
The delegation comprises experts such as Sayata Senobua, Matima
