CAA delegation arrives in Brussels for talks on
EU Flight resumption
A specialized team from the Pakistan Civil
Aviation Authority (PCAA) has arrived in Brussels for discussions with European
authorities concerning the restoration of Pakistani airlines' operations in
European nations.
The team would brief European authorities on
the preparations for upcoming technical sessions and to address various matters
with the European Commission.
The delegation from Pakistan's Civil Aviation
Authority (PCAA) comprises senior officials, including the Deputy
Director-General and the Director of Airworthiness. The visit aims to foster
cooperation and mutual understanding between Pakistani authorities and their
European counterparts.
The discussions will center on crucial topics
such as flight safety measures and the scrutiny of pilot licenses, aiming to
address concerns raised by European aviation authorities.
These discussions carry the potential to create
a pathway for the removal of the ban that has prevented Pakistani airlines,
including PIA, from operating flights to European countries since 2020.
