PAA to auction lease rights for food promenade at Islamabad airport
The Pakistan Airports
Authority (PAA) has announced plans to auction lease rights for the
development and operation of the Sky View Food Promenade at Islamabad
International Airport, offering businesses an opportunity to establish
commercial outlets at one of the country's busiest aviation hubs.
According to an official notice, the auction will be
held on August 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Red
Building, Block III, at Islamabad International Airport.
The auction covers five commercial plots, with a reserve
price of Rs26,250 per square yard.

The PAA said Plots B-116-A, B-116-B, B-116-C and B-116-E
are reserved for businesses representing international food brands, while Plot
B-116-D has been designated exclusively for Pakistani food brands.

Under the PAA Land Lease Policy 2019, the successful
bidders will be granted a 30-year lease, with the option to extend it for an
additional 20 years through mutual agreement.
To participate in the auction, interested bidders must
submit two copies of their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), a non-refundable
participation fee of Rs10,000, and the prescribed earnest money in the form of
a pay order before the auction.
The authority added that companies with outstanding dues
owed to the PAA or those that have been blacklisted will not be eligible to
participate.
