PIA issues tender seeking services of hotel service providers
Pakistan International Airlines
(PIA), the national flag carrier, has announced plans to enhance passenger
facilitation services at Islamabad International Airport by arranging hotel
accommodations for travelers affected by delayed and transit flights.
This initiative reflects the airline’s ongoing efforts to improve customer
experience amid operational challenges and increasing passenger expectations
for comfort and care during disruptions.

announces expansion in Pakistan to enhance travel experience for Pakistanis
In a tender notice published in the April 1
edition of a local newspaper, PIA invited proposals from well-reputed and
experienced hotel service providers. The selected vendors will be responsible
for offering layover accommodation services to passengers facing extended
waiting times due to flight delays or connecting schedules at Islamabad.
By
outsourcing these services to established hospitality providers, PIA aims to
ensure a higher standard of comfort, timely service, and better coordination
for affected passengers.
This move is also seen as part of broader efforts by the airline to rebuild
its service reputation and align with international standards for passenger
handling during irregular operations.
